Long before Alamin Victor became an author, he became a student of questions.

Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, life taught him responsibility earlier than expected. A family crisis interrupted his education and changed the course of his childhood. Returning to school meant rebuilding his confidence and relearning much of what had been left behind. Looking back, he sees that season as the beginning of something far greater than an academic setback. It awakened a curiosity about how people recover, adapt, and make sense of difficult experiences. 

Like many young people, Alamin believed success would eventually answer the questions he carried. He explored different ventures before founding SolarBridge Solution and later began developing USBS, a software platform for the solar industry. Along the way came failed ideas, financial setbacks, unexpected opportunities, and long seasons of uncertainty. Every experience brought new questions, and over time those questions became more important than the achievements themselves. 

Living alone marked another turning point.

For the first time, there was enough quiet to pay attention to his own thoughts without distraction. He began reading more deeply, writing more consistently, and observing the patterns that appeared in everyday life. What started as an attempt to understand himself gradually became a much broader pursuit. His questions expanded beyond human behaviour into the principles that shape reality itself. He became fascinated by the relationship between truth, responsibility, faith, consciousness, systems, and the ideas that quietly influence the way people live. 

Today, writing is how Alamin continues that pursuit.

Every book begins with an observation. Curiosity leads to exploration, exploration uncovers principles, and those principles become books. His work explores reality, awareness, responsibility, identity, masculinity, civilisation, and the enduring ideas that shape human life. Rather than presenting easy answers, his books invite readers to examine familiar assumptions, think more deeply, and see the world with greater clarity.

The King in Isolation was the beginning of that journey. It is the first published work in a lifelong body of writing dedicated to understanding reality and helping others engage with it more consciously.
